Graduate: Academic Support: Filing Your Intent to Graduate
Before filing your Intent:
- Meet with your Program Coordinator for a final check of your degree audit to make sure you will meet the graduation requirements. You may be required to do so before your Intent is approved
- Register for classes before attempting to file an intent
- You must be enrolled at UCF during your graduating term. If you do not need to enroll for credit, please stop by ENGR 107 to discuss the matter.
- You should not be enrolled at another institution during your graduating term.
When to file:
Your intent to Graduate must be filed by the withdrawal deadline date of your graduating term. When you come into the CECS Academic Affairs Office (ENG-1, 107), you will be given an Intent to Graduate package, consisting of an Intent to Graduate form, and Exit Survey. Fill out these forms and return them to the Graduate Program Assistant for your department (please see list below) with a copy of your degree audit. Any changes to your program of study should be requested at this time. It is a good idea to schedule appointments with the department graduate coordinator in order to go over your graduation requirements. Of course, if you have not satisfied all the requirements, you will not graduate.
